What is the Asian Handicap?

How to use the Asian Handicap

The formula
Adjusted goal difference = (Home + Line) − Away
Settlement:
> 0 → Win (full stake at odds)
= 0 → Push (stake returned)
< 0 → Loss (lose stake)

- Adjusted goal difference = (3 − 1.5) − 1 = +0.5 → Win
- Profit = $100 × (2.10 − 1) = +$110
Quarter-line example: you back Spain -0.75 at 1.90 with $100 stake. Spain win 1-0.

- At -0.5: (1 - 0.5) - 0 = +0.5 → Win → +$45 profit on the $50 half
- At -1.0: (1 - 1.0) - 0 = 0 → Push → $50 returned
