The Round of 32 is unique to the 48-team format adopted for 2026. The top two teams from each of the 12 groups, plus the eight best third-placed teams across all groups, are seeded into a 32-team single-elimination bracket. 16 fixtures over 6 days determine which 16 teams advance to the traditional knockout rounds.
